Today, the average person living in the western world is plagued by mental health issues, unhappiness, existential angst, or at best, a vague sense of discontentment.  I've noticed this pattern of being in those around me for as long as I can remember.  And since then, I have been making a deliberate and sincere effort to steer my life in a different direction. I’ve been fortunate enough to stumble upon methods and resources that have helped me in cultivating a life I feel is worth sharing.

  This content aims to be a guide in navigating the challenges of, and flourishing in the modern world.  Most of what you’ll read here circles around the mediums through which I’ve found to be the most helpful. Those being: health and fitness, philosophy/mindfulness, and traveling.  I hope that those who read this gain something, but ultimately I’m doing this as a means of improving my thinking and understanding of the world.  And frankly, I just enjoy writing.
